These camps are for children ages 8 and up, and offer daily horseback riding by a certified instructor, arts and crafts, as well as many other activities which may include: hiking, games, horse care, and horsemanship skills. Each session will have a limit of eight campers to ensure a small camper to instructor ratio. Up to two additional qualified helpers will be on hand as needed. Junior and a happy daycamper Day camps run from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campers should bring a sack lunch and beverage Monday through Thursday. A refrigerator is available to keep foods and beverages cold. We will provide an afternoon snack on those days. On Friday, we will have a Pizza Party! Campers will also be required to wear or bring with them long pants for riding, and appropriate barn footwear, such as boots or tie shoes. No sandals or loafer, please! campers with their art! 2008 sessions: No 2008 sessions scheduled due to changes in employment. Check back in 2009! 2007 cost for day camp: $200 per child -- includes daily riding lesson, arts and crafts materials, snack and pizza party. 10% discount for two or more children from the same family. 10% discount for multiple session enrollment.
