A Different Kind of Schooling Show!!


This show combines Dressage, Hunt Seat Equitation and Jumping, Horsemanship skills and knowledge along with some fun classes. There will be a Grand and Reserve Champion in 4 age groups: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-17, 18 and over. Enter at least one class in Divisions 1-5 to be eligible for Championship. Pre-registration preferred.
2008 coggins required. Lunch available on grounds. No refunds.

Division #1: Dressage. May enter two classes. Readers are allowed. Arena 20 meters by 40 meters.
      Class 1A: USDF Intro Level Test A
      Class 1B: USDF Intro Level Test B
      Class 1C: USEF Training Level Test 1
      Class 1D: USEF Training Level Test 2

Division #2: Hunter over fences. May enter two classes. Points count only from classes which corresponds to the equitation over fences class that is entered.
      Class 2A: trot over a marked course of ground poles. May post or do 2-point postion over the poles.
      Class 2B: teeny tiny x's; trot or controlled canter.
      Class 2C: minuscule hunter; small verticals, flower boxes, up to 1'6".
      Class 2D: low hunter, fences up to 2'

Division #3: Equitation over fences. Same as above, judged on equitation. May enter only one; 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D.

Division #4: Equitation on the flat. May enter only one.
      Class 4A: walk/trot, for a beginning rider.
      Class 4B: walk/trot, for beginning horse or rider. Judge may also ask for sitting trot.
      Class 4C: walk/trot/canter, intermediate rider. Judge may ask for sitting trot and/or 2-point at the trot.
      Class 4D: walk/trot/canter, more advanced rider. Sitting trot, 2-point at trot or canter may be asked for.

Division #5: Equine IQ. Bring your tacked-up mount to the judge for a verbal test of your knowledge. Enter one.
      Class 5A: beginner; answer simple questions about parts of the horse and tack.
      Class 5B: intermediate; answer questions about parts of the horse, tack and grooming.
      Class 5C: advanced; answer questions about parts of the horse, tack, grooming and horse health.

Division #6: Just for Fun!!! Enter as many as you like!
      Class 6A: Lead Line, for younger brother or sister. Bridle on horse with halter over, or lead attached to bridle.
      Class 6B: Egg and Spoon. You know what this is!
      Class 6C: Walk/Trot Bareback Equitation
      Class 6D: Bribe Your Horse. Timed event; how hungry is YOUR horse? LOTS of Fun!

2008 Negative Coggins Required of All Horses - please bring original and a copy for our records. Limited stabling available, please call for reservations, (608) 539-2024. Stalls must be paid for in advance, $20.00 per stall, bedding available at $5.00 per bag or bring your own. No refund on stabling or entry fees without veterinarian certificate. Class schedule will be posted day of the show. Lunch available on the grounds. No dogs, please! Pre-registration preferred.
ENTRY FEES Division 1 through 5; classes $6.00 each pre-register, $8.00 post-enter. Division 6; classes $3.00 each. Pre-registration closes on June 27th.
